If the current passing through a bulb is...

If the current passing through a bulb is 0.2 A and the power of the bulb is 20 W , find the voltage applied across the bulb.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Data : I=0.2 A, P=20 W, V = ?
P=VI
`therefore V=(P)/(I)=(20W)/(0.2A)`
`=100 V`
The voltage across the bulb =100 V.
