`u=-25 cm, h_(1)=10cm, v= ? "h"_(2)=? `
`1/f =1/v -1/u therefore 1/v=1/f +1/u`
`therefore 1/v =(1)/(10cm)+(1)/(-25cm)=(1)/(10cm) -(1)/(25 cm)`
`=(5-2)/(50 cm)=(3)/(50 cm)`
`therefore ` Image distance ,` v=(50)/(3) cm`
`div 16.67 cm div 16.7 cm`
(ii) `(h_(2))/(h_(1))=(v)/(u) therefore h_(2)=(v)/(u) h_(1)`
`therefore h_(2) ((50//3)cm)/(-25)xx10 cm=(50xx10)/(25xx3)cm `
`=-(20)/(3)` cm div -6.666 cm`
`div -6.6 cm`
The height of the image =-6.6 cm (inverted image : minus sign).
(iii) The image is real, inverted and smaller than the object.
