Which electricity generation process is eco-friendly and which not ?

Electricity generated through solar energy and wind energy are truly eco-friendly. Though it is said that hydroelectricity is non-polluting and eco-friendly, it is not true. Hydroelectric project cause destruction of biodiversity and dispplacement of the local people. Thermal energy, nuclear energy and energy obtained through natural gas are not at all eco-friendly.
