Assertion: The coil is bound over the metallic fram in moving coil galvanometer.
Reason: The metallic fram help in making steady deflected without any oscillation.

A

If both the assertion and reason are true and reason is a true explantion of the assertion.

B

If both the assertion and reason are true but the reason is not true the correct explantion of the assertion.

C

If the assertion is true but reason false

D

If both the assertion and reason are false.

The correct Answer is:
A

Due to metallic frame the deflection is only due to current in a coil and magnetic field, not due to vibration in the strings. If strings start oscillating, presence of metallic fram in the field make these oscillates damped.
