For C.G.S. system ,
` u_n = sqrt ( ((Ze^2)/(mr_n)))`
From electron ` e= 4. 803 xx 10^(-10)esu, `
` m = 9. 108 xx 10 ^(28) g`
Radius of II orbit ` = r_1 xx n^2 = 0. 529 xx 10^(-8) xx 9 cm`
`u_(n)=sqrt(((1x(4.803xx10^(-10))^(2))/(9.108xx10^(_28)xx0.529xx10^(-8)xx9)))`
`u_n = 7. 29 xx 10^7 cm sec^(-7)`.
Now , circumfernce fo III orbit
` = 2 xx pi xx 0. 529 xx 10 ^(-8) xx 9`
` = 29 . 93 xx 10^(-8) cm`
` therefore` No. of revolutions /sec
` = u_n /( 2 pir) = ( 7. 29 xx 10^7)/(29. 93 xx 10^(-8)) = 2 . 44 xx 100^(14)`.
