What is the height of mercury level in a barometer which is set up in a sealed cabin on the moon containing air at our usual atmospheric pressure.

On the moon, ac celeration due to gravity is one-sixth that of earth i.e., `g' = g//6`. if h' and h are the height of mercury column on moon and earth for the given atmospheric pressure, then
` P=h rho g = h'rho g'`
or `h' = (hg)/(g') = (76 xx g)/(g//6) = 76 xx 6` ltbr.`=456 cm of Hg`.
