What will be the shape of the bigger drop of mercury on a glass sheet (a) on the surface of earth (b) at the centre of the earth, and why?

(a) On the surface of earth, a bigger drop of mercury on a glass sheet gets flattended from the middle and have round shape near the edges. It is so because the big mercury drop firstly takes spherical shape due to surface tension. As the force of gravity is large on big drop, so teh centre of gravity of big mercury drop, so the centre to be in a stable state of equilibrium. As a rejult of it, the big drop of mercry gets flattened from the middle and is having a round shape near the edges.
(b) At cetre of earth, the gravity effect is nil. the big mercury drop on a glass sheet takes a spherical shape due to surface tension.
