Is the heat supplied to a system always equal to the increase in its internal energy?

According to first law of thermodynamics,
`dQ=dU+dW=dU+P(dV)`
If heat is supplied in such a manner that volume does not change (dV = 0 i.e., isochoric change), them whole of the heat energy supplied to the system will increase internal energy only, not otherwise.
