Why is conversion of heat into work not possible without a sink at lower temperature?

For converting heat energy into work continuosly, a part of heat energy absorbed from the source has to be rejected. The heat energy can be rejected only if there is a body, whose temperature is less than that of the source. This body at lower temperature is the sink.
