The pattern of standing waves formed on ...

The pattern of standing waves formed on a stretched strinig at two instants of time are shown in figure. The velocity of two waves superimposing to form stationary wave is `360ms^(-1)` and their frequencies are 256 Hz.
(a) Calculate the time at which the second curve is plotted. ltbr. (b) Mark nodes and antinodes on the curve.
(c) Calculate the distance between `A^(')` and `C^(')`.

Here, `upsilon=360m//s,v=256 Hz`.
(a) In figure , second curve represents all the particles passing simultaineously through eman position. This happens earliest at `t=(T)/(4)=(1)/(4v)=(1)/(4xx256)s=9.8xx10^(-4)s`
(b) Nodes are at points `A,B,C,D,E` and anitnodes are at points `A^('), B^('), C^('), D^(')` inbetween nodes.
(c) distance between `A^(') ` and `C^(')` `=2xx(lambda)/(2)=(upsilon)/(v)=(360)/(256)=1.41m`
