Two simple pendulum A and B of lengths 1...

Two simple pendulum `A` and `B` of lengths `1.69m` and `1.44m` start swinging at the time from a location where acceleration due to gravity is `10ms^(-1)`. Answer the following question.
What will be the apporximate gain or loss ot time by pendulum `A` in a day with respect to second's pendulum ?

A

`6 hours`

B

`7 hours`

C

`8 hours`

D

`9 hours`

The correct Answer is:
B

`T_(1)=2ss(22)/(7)sqrt((1.69)/(10))=2.5838s.`
Time period of second's pendulum, `T=2s`.
As, `T_(1)gtT`, so there will be loss of time.
Loss of time in `2s=T_(1)-T=2.5838-2`
`=0.5838s`
Loss of time in a day `=(0.5838)/(2)xx24xx60xx60`
`=25220x=(25220h)/(60xx60)~~7h`
