How will the magnetic field induction at the centre of a circular coil carrying current change, if the current through the coil is doubled and the radius of the coil is halved?

Text Solution

Magnetic field induction at the centre of the circular coil carrying current is
`B=(mu_0)/(4pi)(2pinI)/(r)` i.e. `Bpropn/r`
`:. B^'/B=(2n)/((r//2))xxr/n=4` or `B^'=4B`
