At what positions, the neutral points will lie for a bar magnet when magnetic axis of magnet is lying in the magnetic meridian
(i) with N-pole of magnet pointing North
(ii) with S-pole of magnet pointing North?

(i) The neutral points will lie on equatorial line of bar magnet of magnetic moment M and magnetic length `2l`, where
`H=(mu_0)/(4pi)(M)/((d^2+l^2)^(3//2))`
where d is the perpendicular distance of neutral point from the centre of magnet.
(ii) The neutral points will be on axial line of bar magnet, where
`H=(mu_0)/(4pi)(2Md)/((d^2-l^2)^2)`
