If resistance R in circuit 'a' of fig. be decreased, what will be the directionn of induced current in the circuit 'b'

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

When R is decreased, current in 'a' increases An e.m.f. is induced in 'b' which opposes the increase of current in 'a'. The induced current must, therefore, be anticlockwise.
