A coil has a self inductance of 10 mH. What is the maximum magnitude of the induced e.m.f. in the coil when a current of `I = 0.1 sin 200 t` ampere is sent through it ?

Here, `L = 10 mH = 10 xx 10^(-3) H = 10^(-2) H`
`I = 0.1 sin 200 t`
`(dI)/(dt) = 0.1 cos 200 t xx 200 = 20 cos 200t`
`((dI)/(dt))_(max) = 20 xx 1`
As `e = L (dI)//dt)`
`:. E_(max) = L (dI//dt)_(max) = 10^(2) xx 20 = 0.2 V`
