Find the mutual inductance between the two coils if a current of 10 ampere in primary coil changes the flux by 500 Wb per turn in the secondary coil of 200 turns. Also, find the induced e.m.f. acorss the ends of the secondary coil if this change occurs in 0.5 sec.

Here, `N_(1) = 400, N_(2) = 700`
`I_(1) = 3.5 A phi_(1) = 300 xx 10^(-6) Tm^(2)`
`phi_(2) = 900 xx 10^(-6) Tm^(2)`
`M = (N_(2) phi_(2))/(I_(1)) = (700 xx 90 xx 10^(-6))/(3.5) = 1.8 xx 10^(-2) H`
`L_(1) = (N_(1) phi_(1))/(I_(1)) = (400 xx 300 xx 10^(-6))/(3.5) = 3.43 xx 10^(-2) H`
`e_(2) = M ((dI_(1))/(dt)) = 1.8 xx 10^(-2) xx (0.5)`
`= 9 xx 10^(-3) V`
