An inductor of inductance `100 mH` is connected in series with a resistance, a variable capacitance and an `AC` source of frequency `2.0 kHz`. What should be the value of the capacitance so that maximum current may be drawn into the circuit?

`v = 2.0 k Hz = 2 xx 10^(3) Hz, C = ?`
Maximum current is drawn at resonance, for which
`v = (1)/(2 pi sqrt(LC)) , C = (1)/(4 pi^(2) v^(2) L)`
` C = (1)/(4 xx ((22)/(7))^(2) (2 xx 10^(3))^(2) xx 10^(-1))`
`C = 6.3 xx 10^(-) F = 63 nF`
