A generator develops an e.m.f. of 120 V ...

A generator develops an e.m.f. of 120 V and has a terminal potential difference of 115 V, when the amature current is 25 A. What is the resistance of the armature ?

Here, `E = 120 V, V = 115 V, I = 25 A`
As `I = (E - V)/(R )`
`:. R = (E - V)/(I) = (120 - 115)/(25) = (5)/(25) = 0.2 Omega`
