Yes, reflection can result if the light, is incident on the interface from the side with higher refractive index. As is known, polarization by reflection occurs when angle of incidence is the Brewster's angle `(i_(p))`. i.e.,
`tan i_(p) = n = (n_(2))/(n_(1))` where `n_(2) gt n_(1)`.
When light travels in such medium, the critical angle `c` is such that
`sin c = (1)/(n) = (n_(1))/(n_(2))` where `n_(2) gt n_(1)`
As `|tani_(p)|gt|sin c|` for large angles, therefore, `i_(p) gt c`
Hence polarization by reflection shall occur definitely.
