In a transistor, doping level in base is...

In a transistor, doping level in base is increased slightly. How will it affect (i) collector current and (ii)base current?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

(i) Collector current will decrease, as more of the majority carriers going from emitter to collector will get neutralised in base by electron hole combination. Due to it (ii) the base current will increase.
