Transistor does not work in railway carriage. Why?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The railway carriage works as an electric screen. The electric field inside the carriage is zero and any change from outside in electric field cannot enter the carriage. Hence the electromagnetic signal do not find their entry in the railway carriage. Due to it, the transistor does not work in railway carriage.
