The output from the upper AND gate `=(A.barB)` The output y of the OR gate is `y=(barA.B)+(A.barB)=Ao+B` In this gate if `A=0` and `B=1` or vice versa, the output `y=1` and if both A and B are identical, then the output `y=0`. This operation is also called Exclusive OR gate, designated EXOR gate.
