The input signal given to a CE amplifier...

The input signal given to a `CE` amplifier having a voltage gain of `150` is `V_(i)=2cos(15t+(pi)/3)`. The corresponding output signal will be

A

`300cos(15t+(4pi)/3)`

B

`300cos(15t+(pi)/3)`

C

`75cos(15t+(2pi)/3)`

D

`2cos(15t+(5pi)/3)`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The correct Answer is:
A

Here, voltage gain, `A_(v)=150=V_(0)/V_(i), V_(i)=2V`
`:. V_(0)=A_(v)xxV_(i)=150xx2=300 V` We know that the output signal voltage in CE amplifier is `180^(@)` out of phase w.r.t. input signal voltage. Hence the output signal will be
`=300 cos(15t+pi/3+pi) =300 cos(15t+(4pi)/3)`
