Why should transmitters broadcasting programmes use different carrier frequencies?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

If all transmitters were to use same carrier
frequency, it will not be possible to tune the
receiver to a particular transmission. As
frequency range of all message signals are
identical, they will get mixed up almost
inseparably.
