`2 sin theta + sqrt3 cos theta = 1 + sin theta`

यहाँ `a = sqrt3, b = 1, c = 1`
तथा `sqrt(a^(2)+b^(2)) = 2`
`rArr c lt sqrt(a^(2) +b^(2))`
समीकरण (i) को `sqrt(a^(2)+b^(2)) = 2` से भाग करने पर
`sqrt3/2 cos theta + 1/2 sin theta = 1/2`
`rArr cos theta cos. pi/6 + sin theta sin. pi/6 = cos . pi/3`
`rArr cos (theta - pi/6) = cos. pi/3`
`rArr theta - pi/6 = 2 n pi pm pi/3`
