In figure which voltmeter reads zero when `omega` is equal to the resonant frequency of series `LCR` circuit
.

A

`V_(3)`

B

`V_(2)`

C

`V_(1)`

D

none of these

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The correct Answer is:
B

At resonance voltage across inductor and condenser are equal in magnitude but opposite in phase. Therefore there resultant voltage is zero. Thus, volt meter `V_(2)` shows zero reading.
