The inner volume of a cuboidal box is 440 cc and the area of inner base is 88 sq. cm, the inner height of the box is

A

4 cm

B

5 cm

C

3 cm

D

6 cm

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Let the inner height of the box be h cm
`therefore` the inner volume of the box = area of box = area of inner base ` xx` h cubic cm. `= 88 xx h ` cc .
As per question.`88*h=440/88=5 ` M
Hence the inner height of the is 5 cm.
