1 henctre = 100 arc `= 100 xx 100 sq-,m = 1000 sq-m `
`therefore` 2 hectre `= 2 xx 10000 sq -m. 20000 sq-m `
Height of rainfall =5cm =0.05 m ltbngt `therefore` volume of rain water `=0.05 xx 20000` cubic -meter = 1000 cubic-metres
So the required volume of rain water = 1000 cubic- metre
Hence the statement is true.

In rainy season, if the hight of rain - water in 2 hectors of land be 5 metres, then the volume of rain-water is 1000 cubic - metres.

The depth of a cuboid pond with length of 20 m and breadth of 18.5 m is 3.2 m, determine the time required to irrigate whole water of the pond with a pump having the capacity to irriagate 160 kilolitres water per hour. If that quantity of water is poured on a paddy field with a ridge having the length of 59.2 m and breath of 40 m, then what is the depht of water in that land ? [Let 1 cubic metre=1 kilolitre]

The length of radius of right circular drum is r cm and height is h cm. If half part of the drum is filled with water, then the volume of water will be pi r^(2)h cubic-cm. TRUE of FALSE

A group of fire brigade personnel carried a right circular cylindrical tank filled with water and pumped out water at a speed of 420 metres per minute to put the fire in 40 minutes by three pipes of 2 cm diameter each. If the diameter of the tank is 2* 8 metres and its length is 6 metre, then calculate (a) what volume of water has been spent in putting out the fire and (b) hte volume of water that still remains in the tank .

An outlet pipe in the roof with length 13m and breadth 11m was closed at the time of rain fall. After rain fall, it was seen that water habing logged in the roof with 7cm depth. The length of diameter of outlet pipt is 7cm and water comes our cylindrically with 200m length/min. Calculate the time required is drainout whole amount of water after opening the pipe.

The daily requirements of water of three families in our three-storyed flat are 1200 litres, 1050 litres and 950 litres respectively. After fulfilling these requirements in order to put up a tank again and to deposit to store 25 % of the required water, only a land having the length of 2·5 m and breadth of 1 ·6 m has been procured. Calculate the depth of the tank in metre that should be made. If the breadth of the land would be more by 4 dcm, then calculate the depth of the tank to be made.

What will be the approximate terminal velocity of a rain drop of diameter 1.8xx10^-3 m , when density of rain water ~~10^3 kg. m^-3 and the coefficient of viscosity of air ~~1.8xx10^-5 N.s. m^-2 ?(Neglect buoyancy of air)
