Short- answer type questions (S.A) .
If the number of surfaces of cuboid is x, the number of edges is y, the number of vertices is z and the number of diagenals is p, find the volue of (x-y+z+p).

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The number of sufaces of a cuboid is 6. `therefore` x=6
The number of edges of a cuboid is 8. `therefore` y =12
The number of vertices of acuboid is 8. `therefore z = 8`
The number of diagonals of cuboid is 4. `therefore` P = 4
so, x-y+z+p=6-12+8+4=6.
