The length of the least side of the cube = L.C.M of (20 cm, 15 cm and 12 cm )= 60 cm
Then the volume of the cube `= 60 xx 60 xx 60 ` cc.
Again the volume of each piece of wood `= (20 xx 15 xx 12 ) ` cc .
`therefore ` the required piece of wood `=(60 xx 60 xx 60 "cc")/(20xx 15 xx 12 "cc")= 60 `
Hence at least 60 pices of wood will be required to make a cube.
