Earth's gravitational force...

Earth's gravitational force

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

i. The Earth attracts all the objects towards the surface of the Earth.
ii. The attraction is towards the centre of the Earth.
Hence the gravitational force of the Earth acts towards the centre of the Earth.
iii. Due to this force, all objects fall vertically downwards on the earth.
