The value of g at the centre of the Earth is zero. Explain?

The acceleration due to gravity is given as
`g=(GM)/(R^(2))`
At the centre of the Earth, the mass under consideration is zero.
i.e. `M=O`
`:.g=0`
Hence acceleration due to gravity, at the centre of the earth is zero.
