The outer cyliunders of two cylindrical capacitors of capacitance `2.2` mu F each , are keot in contact and the inner cylinders are connected through a wire .A bettery of end 10V is connected as shown in figure. Find the totatl charge supplied by the bettery to the inner cylioders.

The correct Answer is:
`44 mu C`

As is clear from Fig, the two cyclindrical capacitors are joined in parallel.
`:. C_(p) = C_(1) + C_(2) = 2.2 + 2.2 = 4.4 mu F`
As `q = C_(p) V :. q = 4.4xx10 = 44 mu C`
