Why is the meter bridge suitable for resistance of moderate values only ?

For measuring high resistance, the resistances of all other arms of the bridge should also be high in ordere to ensure the sensitivity of the bridge. But this will reduce the current through the galvanometer. As a result of it, the galvanometer becomes insensitive.
