The balancing length for a cell in a potentiometer experiment is 45 cm. In the balanced condition, the current through the potentiometer wire is 2 A. If the total length of the potentiometer wire is 1 m and its total resistance is 60Omega , the emf of the cell is (in Volts) _________.
In a ptentiometer experiment it is found that no current passes through the galvanometer when the terminals of a cell are connected across 509 cm of the potentiometer wire. When the cell is cnnected across 490 cm of the wire Find the internal resistance of the cell.
In a potentiometer experiment it is found that no current passes through the galvanometer when the terminals of the cell are connected across 0.52 m of the potentiometer wire. If the cell is shunted by a resistance of 5Omega balance is obtained when the cell connected across 0.4m of the wire. Find the internal resistance of the cell.
