How can you make a potentiometer of given wire length more sensitive using a resistance box?
Text Solution
Verified by Experts
This can be achieved by using more resistance from the resistance box in the potentiometer wire circuit. Which in turn will decrease the current in the potentiometer wire and comsequently, the potential gradient of wire will decrease. As a result of it , the sensitivity of the potentiometer will increase.
