A long straight current carrying wire passes normally through the centre of circular loop. If the current through the wire increases, will there be an induced emf in the loop? Justify.

We know that, induced emf, `e=-(dphi)/(dt)=-(d)/(dt)(vecB.vecA)`
In this case, the magnetic lines of force due to current carrying wire are parallel to the plane of the loop. So, angle between the magnetic field and normal of the plane of the circular loop is `90^(@)`.
`therefore e=0[because vecB.vecA=0]`
Hence, there will no induced emf in the loop.
