100 g of water is added to a 100 cc solution of sugar of density 1.5 g/cc. what is the density of the new mixture?

Mass of sugar=density`xx`volume=1.5g/cc`xx100`cc=150g
Assume 100g water=100cc water (density of water =1g/cc)
`therefore` Total volume=100+100=200cc, mass of solution=150g+100g=250g
`therefore"Density"=(250g)/(200 c c)=1.25`g/cc
