The correct Answer is:
B

There will be no critical angle , when the ray of light travels from air to glass or from water to glass because in both cases the ray travels from a rarer medium to a denser medium . It is possible , when it passes from (i) glass to air and (ii) glass to water .
For glass to air , `sin C_(1) = (1)/(""_(a) n_(g)) = (1)/(n_(g))`
For glass to water ,` sin C_(2) = (1)/(""_(g) n_(w)) = (1)/((n_(g))/(n_(w))) = (n_(w))/(n_(g))`
`because (n_(w))/(n_(g)) gt (1)/(n_(g)) therefore sin C_(2) gt sin C_(1) or C_(1) lt C_(2)`
`therefore ` C is minimum , when it travels from glass to air
