The circumferences of circular faces of a frustum are 132 cm and 88 cm and its height is 24 cm. To find the slant height of the frustum complete the following activiy. `(pi=22/7)`

`r_1=132/(2pi)=square`
`"circumference"_2=2pir_2=88`
`r_2=88/(2pi) =square`
Slant height of frustum, `l=sqrt(h^2+(r_1-r_2)^2)`
`=sqrt(24^2+square^2)
`= squarecm`

`"Circumfrence"_(1) = 2pir_(1) = 132 cm `
`therefore r_(1) = 132/(2pi) = 132/2xx 7/22 = 21 cm`
`"Circumfrence"_(2) = 2pir_(2) = 88`
`therefore r_(2) = 88/(2pi) = 88/2 xx 7/22 = 14 cm `
Siant height of frustum `(l) = sqrt(h^(2) + (r_(1) - r_(2))^(2))`
`= sqrt(24^(2) + (21-14)^(2))`
`= sqrt(24^(2) + 7^(2))`
` = sqrt(576 + 49) `
` = sqrt(625)`
`= 25 cm`
