The correct Answer is:
C

When a thermodynamic system undergoes a change of state, we say it has undergone a process. The process may be accompoined by an exchange of matter `and//or` energy between the system and its surrounding.
Thus, a proces means a change in at least one of the state variables of the system. The path of a process consists of fa series of thermodynamic states through which the system passes. on it way fromthe initial state to the final state.
Processes statring with the same initial state and ending at a prarticular final state going through different path correspond to different processes. There are certain processes in which a particular state variable (thermodynamic property fo the system) reamins unchanged. Such processes ar identified with special nomenclature.
