Block `B` is placed on a smooth surface. Block `A` is placed on rough surface of bolck `B` with coefficient of friction `0.60`. The mass of `A` and `B` are `2 kg` and `4 kg` respectively. Find the frictional force between `A` and `B` ( in `N`)

The correct Answer is:
8

Assume both blocks are accelerating towards left with acceleration a
`a = (f-2)/(2) = (20-f)/(4)` or `f = 8N`
`f_(max) = mu mg = (0.6)(2)(10) = 12N`
So frictional force `= 8N`
