The angualr speed of a flywheel making 360 rpm is

A

`12 pi `

B

`6pi`

C

`3pi`

D

`2pi`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The correct Answer is:
A

Given rmp = 360
We know that 1 rpm `2pi rad min^(-1) = (2pi)/(2 xx 3.14) = 12.5`
Hence, for 360 rmp `(2pi)/(60) xx 360 = 12 pi rad s^(-1)`
