Text Solution

Verified by Experts

`A_(2)(g) to B (g) + 1/2 C (g)`
`:. -(d[A_2])/(dt)=2(d[D])/(dt)=(d[B])/(dt)`
Also the increase in pressure is due to the formation of C because one mole of `A_2` gives one mole of B and half mole of C.
Thus,
`-(d[A])/(dt)=2(d[C])/(dt)=2(120-100)/(5)= 8 m m mi n^(-1)`
