If `V =220 sqrt2 sin (314t -phi)` calculat peak and rms value of the voltage (b) average voltage for half time -period (c ) frequency of ac

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

`V = 220 sqrt2 sin (314t -phi)`
`V = V_(0) sin (omegat -phi)`
Comparting (i) and (ii) we get
Peak voltage `V_(0) = 220 sqrt 2V`
rms voltage `V_(mas) = V_(0)/sqrt2 = (220sqrt2)/(sqrt2) = 220V`
(b) `bar(V) = (2)/(pi)V_(0) = (2)/(pi) xx 220 sqrt2 =(440sqrt2)/(pi) V`
`omega = 314 rad//sec`
`2pi f = 314 implies f =50Hz` .
