At what temperature the Fahrenheit and kelvin scales of temperature give the same reading ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

On the Kelvin and Fahrenheit scales
`(K - 273.15)/(100) = (F - 32)/(180)` (if `X = K = F`)
`(X - 273.15)/(100) = (X - 32)/(180)`
`X = (9)/(4)(255.38) = 574.6`
`:. 574.6 K = 574.6^(@)F`.
