A particle is moving in a straight line. Its v-t graph in different cases are as shown below. Find the diplacement and distance in time interval t=0 to t=10 s for the following cases:

(a) `t=0` to `t=10 s`, Area`=1/2xx10xx10=50`
Displacement =Distance`=50 m`,
(b) `t=0` to `5s`, Area`=1/2xx10xx5=25`
`t=5` to `8 s`, Area`=1/2xx6xx3=9`
`t=0` to `10 s`, Displacement `=25-9=16 m`,
Distance `=25+9=34 m`
(c ) `t=0` to `t=3 s`, Area`=15`
`t=3` to `t=6 s`, Area`=9`
`t=6` to `t=10 s`, Area`=12`
`t=0` to `t=10 s`, Displacement `=15-9+12=18 m`,
Distance`=15+9+12=36 m`
(d) `t=0` to `t=4s`, Area`=1/2xx10xx4=20`
`t=4` to `t=10s`, Area`=1/2xx55xx6=15`
`t=0` to `t=10 s`, Displacement `=20-15=5 m`,
Distan ce`=20+15=35 m`
