Since `C` and `D` are connected by a conducting wire, hence `p.d.` between `C` and `D` is zeri, `C` and `D` are same points.

`R_(eq) = (1 xx 3)/(1 + 3) +(2 xx 4)/(2 + 4) = (3)/(4)+(4)/(3) = (25)/(12) Omega`
Current in circuit `i = (25)/((25)/(12)) = 12 A`
`i _1 = (3)/(1 + 3) i = (3)/(4) xx 12 = 9 A`
`i_3 = (4)/(2 + 4 i) = (2)/(3) xx 12 = 8 A`
Current in `CD` is `1 A` from `C` to `D`.
