Rhombus is a quadrilateral with all sides of equal lengths, and the opposite sides are parallel to each other. All rhombuses can be called as parallelograms. However, not all parallelograms can be called as rhombuses; moreover, all squares can be referred to as rhombuses. However, not all rhombuses can be referred to as squares. The opposite interior angles of rhombuses are equal to each other. On the other hand, the diagonals that a rhombus will be having will always bisect each other at right angles. A rhombus is a quadrilateral that will be having four equal-length sides and equal to the maximum side.

Constructing a Rhombus

A rhombus can be constructed now itself on any flat surface using simple four linear objects. Whether it is toothpicks, or pencils or meter sticks, or for that matter any simple four linear objects, you can make a rhombus, now itself, on any flat surface. It is for your understanding that it is being said that the rhombus can be built using any four congruent, and straight-line segments that will be done. This means that you now can easily build a rhombus using the above-listed objects that are linear to each other. On a flat surface, using these linear four objects, you can build a rhombus.
