A soccer ball of mass `500 g` is moving horizontally to the left with speed `14 m//s`. The ball is kicked and given velocity `30 m//s` at angle `53^(@)` with horizontal in upward direction to the right. Find the impulse of net force and average net force, assuming the collision time `0.01 s`.
`(cos 53^(@) = 3//5 , sin 53^(@) = 4//5)`

`x`-direction :
`J_(x) = (Delta p)_(x) = mv cos 53^(@) - m(-u) = m(v cos 53^(@) + u)`
`= (1)/(2) (30 xx (3)/(5) + 14) = 16 kg m//s`
`y`-direction:
`J_(y) = (Delta p)_(y) = m v sin 53^(@) = (1)/(2) xx 30 xx (4)/(3) = 12 kg m//s`
`J = sqrt(J_(X)^(2) + J_(y)^(2)) = 20 kg m//s`
Average force `F = (Delta p)/(Delta t) = (J)/(Delta t) = -(20)/(0.01) = 2000 N`
